Steel emerges from stone exhibition
From 8 April to 3 November 2024
If you love art, sculpture, stone and steel, Eyrignac ses Jardins is the place to be from 8 April to 3 November 2024. Come and discover a brand new exhibition by Basque sculptor Ariel Elizondo Lizarraga in the great outdoors. Stroll through our gardens, which are studded with around twenty astonishing works of art, alongside Eyrignac’s 300 topiaries for the duration of the season.
The seven gardens of Eyrignac, spread over an estate of two hundred hectares, already offer wonderful sensory walks. Discovering the exhibition of sculptures by the artist Ariel Elizondo is a further invitation to listen to your senses. It’s also an opportunity to take a different look at the plant world of Eyrignac.
Ariel Elizondo’s sculptures are spread throughout the Eyrignac estate. So don’t expect to queue up in front of each work. On the contrary, you’ll have plenty of space, a choice of viewpoints and time to appreciate them all.
Sunday 7 April from 9.30am to 12.30pm
A special morning is being offered to the public during the installation of the exhibition. The morning will begin with a preview of the exhibition in the gardens in the company of the sculptor. This exclusive visit will be followed by a demonstration and training in how to create a sculpture in natural stone. Participants will be able to produce their own sculpture and take it home with them at the end of the workshop.
Book online for €49, which includes participation in the workshop, a tour of the gardens and a guided tour of the exhibition. Lunch is available at the Côté Jardins restaurant, without reservation.
