Gardens Open for the Brain

MAY 2026

The Jardin des 5 Sens-Yvoire and the Jardins de la Ballue will be welcoming visitors in May in aid of the Brain Research Foundation.

What is the ‘Open Gardens for the Brain’ initiative?
Every year, France’s most beautiful parks and gardens organise a charity event on their premises to raise funds for brain research, opening their doors to the general public. They donate €2 from every admission ticket to the Foundation for Brain Research.

Since the launch of the Open Gardens initiative in 2003, 330,000 visitors have enabled the Foundation to raise nearly €662,000 (including results from 2024). This sum has funded numerous brain research projects, ranging from €30,000 to €80,000 each.
