Rendez-voux aux jardins 2026
5–7 June 2026
On Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026, the Ministry of Culture invites you to visit over 2,800 parks and gardens across Europe. A host of experts will be on hand to share their passion for gardens and their expertise.
Over three days, from 5 to 7 June 2026, as part of the Rendez-vous aux jardins festival, come and explore gardens – some of which are opening their gates on a one-off basis – and take part in the activities on offer: educational workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, musical walks, talks, performances and more. Over the weekend, gardeners, owners, landscape architects, botanists and event organisers will be on hand to chat with visitors of all ages.
The Ministry of Culture will, on an exceptional basis, be collaborating with the Valentin Haüy Association and the Comité des parcs et jardins de France to offer visually impaired and blind visitors the opportunity to experience the sensory aspects of gardens, as part of the 2026 theme ‘The five senses in the garden: sight’.
Beyond their cultural and festive aspects, the Rendez-vous aux jardins provide an opportunity to highlight the initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Culture, local authorities and garden owners to promote the study, conservation, restoration, maintenance and enhancement of gardens (including the ‘Remarkable Garden’ label), as well as the passing on of knowledge and skills.
