Pumpkin Festival at Rivau Castle

On the weekend of 10 and 1 October, it’s the Pumpkin Festival at the Château and Gardens of Le Rivau!
A magical autumn event in Touraine, this festive, food-filled day will inspire the whole family to dream and enjoy this magical gourd!
Alongside the collection of squash varieties that form part of the Centre Region’s Vegetable Heritage, a wide range of culinary, artistic and gardening activities will be on offer: tours of the vegetable garden, pumpkin carving workshops, tastings, jugglers, storytellers, a face-painting artist, a gourmet market, pumpkin craftspeople and nursery growers will entertain and surprise you amongst the fabulous pumpkins of the Potager du Rivau.
Opening hours: 10.00–18.00
Special festival rates, including admission to the gardens, the castle rooms and the stables: adults (€10), children (€6), concessions (€7), families (2 adults and 2 or more children) (€28)

Catering is available on site at La Table des Fées (booking strongly recommended) or at the gourmet restaurant Jardin Secret (booking essential).
